Medical School at Last!
Having failed to gain admission to medical school in my native Ghana, I did not abandon my dream of training to become a doctor. No, rather than throw the towel, I left for Nigeria with goal of working there to earn a plane ticket to study in Germany.
In Nigeria I initially earned my living by working on construction sites; later I gained employment as a teacher. After about two years stay in Nigeria , I moved on to the then West Berlin by means of a transit visa to East Berlin. After overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles, I finally realised my dreams when I was admitted to the Hannover Medical School.
It is an uplifting and encouraging book, showing how faith in God and a firm goal together with perseverance will lead to success.
